It may not have taken a village but it did take a few good Samaritans

A few weeks ago I was on vacation when I woke up to a text from my T1D. She needed an extra pump site and was up all night trying to control her blood sugars. I immediately went on Facebook to message a group of Moms in my area for a pump site. Several Moms got back to me and offered the medical supplies for free. Yes, I said it, for free. I was so thankful and relieved we could get my daughter the needed supplies.  Plus, my friend's son went and picked up the supplies and delivered it to my daughter at work.

A stranger helped a stranger.

Did you know......When I leave the house I only have to worry about bringing my keys, purse, and cell phone. A diabetic has to remember to bring their pancreas!
